Enhancing Photovoltaic Efficiency with the Optimized Steepest Gradient Method and Serial Multi-Cellular Converters

Many methods have been developed to aid in achieving the maximum power point (MPP) generated by PV fields order improve photovoltaic (PV) production. The optimized steepest gradient technique (OSGM), which is used extract produced a field coupled multicell series converter, one such promising methodology. OSGM uses function’s first and second derivatives find optimal voltage (Vpv) converge (Vref) that secures MPP. mathematical model was Matlab/Simulink, MPPT algorithm’s performance evaluated terms of reaction time, oscillations, overshoots, stability. has faster response fewer oscillations around MPP, minimal energy loss. Furthermore, numerical calculation Hessian function enables accurate modeling, improving system’s precision. These findings imply strategy may be more efficient way obtaining MPP for fields. Future research can look into suitability this method different types systems, as well ways specific applications.
